unwanted, unnecessary, or even untrue. Be at least as critical of messages that come from external sources. Do the same with the articles you read here. There is no claim of “truth” on this site. There is only the claim that if you take personal ownership of your life, establish clear and worthy goals for yourself, control your emotions and thinking, eliminate thoughts that are unhelpful to reaching your destination, and make a determined decision to be peaceful and happy, that you will eventually achieve and become...that which you think about.
Control your thoughts, or they will control you!
Let’s begin...at the beginning:
The following articles, or principals, or steps (however you wish to think of them) lay out the basics of thinking rightly, or correctly. One thing you will notice throughout this short collection of messages is that we never will tell you what you must think about. Our only attempt is to instruct you on how to think, how to control what you think about, and how critically important it is for you to do so. But, what you think about, what your goals, desires, and wishes are is strictly up to you, and they will rarely, if ever, be identical for any two people. We always urge that you think of worthy things that are good for you and all who inhabit this earth. And, our belief is that most people desire the good and the successful to the bad and the disastrous. However, we can assure you that if you think negative thoughts, then you will reap negative results. If you think that disaster is right around the corner, then you will most certainly find it. So...think! Think steadily and constantly. Think of good and wonderful outcomes! Think of success for yourself, however you might measure success...whether it is by the yardstick of money, power, friends, influence, position, educational achievement, writing skill, or the simple and blessed state of peacefulness. Read...and think, and you must certainly become...that which you think about.
One of the best ways to begin your path of growth is to simply expose yourself to new ideas. You may not always agree with the writer, but that is not the purpose of reading. The aim is to discover different ideas and to compare them to your own set of beliefs. Only then will you begin to see the differences between what you truly accept as personal core values, and what was imposed onto you by others...or by yourself.

The first of many principals you will learn is that ideas, most importantly the ones you think of all by yourself, are not necessarily true. On your personal journey, you will have to remain vigilant, lest you begin to accept every personal thought as “truth”. Worse still is accepting any and all external messages as “truth”. You must decide to be in charge of what you think and not simply be a “passenger” in life, accepting whatever happens to be thrown in your direction. Be ready to question, to critically analyze, and to possibly discard your own thoughts as
